Our diverse flock of hens include Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rocks, Speckled Sussex, Ameraucana, Rhode Island Blues, and Black Sex Links. They're quirky, clever, and surprisingly chatty.
Favorite activities: Dust bathing, mealworms, the morning dew, cuddles, and pecking at watermelon and cucumber!
OUR LATEST CHICKEN RESCUES
Recently we were presented with an opportunity to rescue some hens who had been abused badly by a farms overabundance of roosters. Through epsom soaks, nail trims, and a change to a feather-fixer high-protein feed, we have been able to get the back to their peppy selves, laying eggs after being dormant for 6 months and tail feathers coming back to life.

Our bunnies came to us from Rising Son's Farm here in Lancaster, Ohio. With their calm temperaments, we are able to bring them inside sometimes which is our favorite. Nothing beats bringing the farm outside, inside.
Favorite activities: Cuddles, sun bathing, and all the food.
