IN LANCASTER, OHIO

WELCOME
Hey friends,
we’re glad you found us!

The Estate 98 isn’t just a place. It’s a heartbeat. A nonprofit project rooted in rural Ohio where we’re learning, teaching, growing, and giving back through the work of our hands and the land under our feet. We’re here to serve locals and preserve something bigger than ourselves. To use our time, talent, and treasures to foster connection, build community, and feed curiosity.

We are here to show you that growing your own food, raising livestock, or even just picking a wildflower can be enough to spark change.

WHAT WE ARE UP TO

egg laying AGE

Our girls, or as the kids have dubbed them "The Chickie Nuggie Squad" are nearing egg laying age! Click here to meet our girls!

ANOTHER (INVASIVE) TREE BITES THE DUST

We have been working tirelessly with the removal of the many invasive trees on the property. See a list of the current invasive species to look out for in our area!

CAUV & BUSINESs STATUS

The Estate 98 is currently in the process of applying for CAUV and establishing a foundation to move forward as a 501(c)(3). This is because we believe that what God gives, we should share, so by doing this, we will be able to afford more so that we can give more.

OUR STORY.

We’re the Tates: Tyler, Victoria, and our two boys, Gideon and Silas. Long before our boys were born, we knew we wanted more than a house... we wanted something that could grow with us and one day serve others. In late 2024, all that came to life with the purchase of 13.8 acres in Lancaster, Ohio.

Together with a foundation of faith and stewardship, combined with Victoria’s southern agricultural roots and Tyler’s childhood memories growing up in Carroll, Ohio, we’ve always believed in building a life centered on hard work and legacy.

"We never imagined we’d be entrusted with this much space or this much opportunity, but now that we have it, we’re committed to restoring what’s been forgotten and creating a place where land, learning, and legacy come together for generations to come."

FOR THE COMMUNITY.

Everything we offer at The Estate 98 is created, grown, or curated with care right here on the land we call "home". Whether you're a fellow homesteader, a backyard chicken keeper, or just someone who loves meaningful things made with heart, there's something here for you. Please note that all items and services are not for sale, instead we ask for donations within your means purely to support the land and the materials needed to keep our stand (in-person and virtual) stocked for you!

OUR WHY.

We started The Estate 98 Project with a handful of animals, a lot of questions, and a deep desire to live intentionally. What we didn’t expect was how many people would ask how they could help and get involved.

This nonprofit is for them. For you. For the families who want chickens but don’t know where to start. For the kids who want to explore the creek and see what natural foliage grows around it. For the neighbors who want to know where their produce comes from. For every future microfarmer who just needs someone to say, “you’ve got this.”

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Visit our donation-based farm stand

Coming Early-Spring 2026, eggs, small-batch goods, and seasonal surprises will be available weekly until the last day of the Fairfield County Fair. Pay what you want via donation. All proceeds go towards the feed, materials, and goods needed to keep The Estate 98 operational.

Attend an event

Fishing, photo session hayrides, and ask-us-anything events. Additional programs will be added to the list as our farm and resources grow! Make sure to subscribe to our newsletter for event signups and more!

ONLINE SUPPORT

Whether you donate through our online giving portal, following on social media, or simply sharing one of our resources or website to your profiles, every little bit is appreciated from our family and those impacted by it.

let's grow something good.

The Estate 98 Project is a nonprofit agriculture organization working towards 501(c)(3) approval. Every dollar made feeds right back into our in-person and virtual farm stand, care for the animals, host community events, and build out the kind of education that actually makes a difference.

All donations will be eligible for tax deduction and a contribution statement will be sent at the end of the year. To learn more or to get involved on the ground-level, contact us! We can't wait to show you what we're working on!

THANKFUL FOR PARTNERSHIPS

We’re incredibly grateful for the local businesses, families, and friends who choose to give back through The Estate 98. Whether it's time spent helping us clear invasive overgrowth, talents shared through design or repairs, or financial support that keeps our mission growing, each contribution helps preserve this land and the purpose behind it. These generous sponsors are part of our story, and their impact reaches far beyond our propertyline. Thank you for believing in the work, the land, and the legacy we’re building together.

"Sing to the Lord a new song,
for he has done marvelous things...

Let the sea resound, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it.
Let the rivers clap their hands,
let the mountains sing together for joy"
